This website you will find useful if you want to dive deeply into biomedical news: statnews.com but be aware that it is ultimately sponsored by Elsevier, which is a giant medical publisher, particularly of journals. Elsevier does not have a sterling reputation– see also Retraction Watch– but it does generally provide information, in a stodgy sort of way. You will be shocked, shocked I say, by the User Agreement that they bind you to– an agreement that is there, apparently, to provide employment to lawyers and nothing else. Oh, well, even lawyers gotta eat.
