Harry Hits the Road

quote from the above book, published in 2010 by Harry Hurt III:
“Man is the only creature who refuses to be what he is,” Camus wrote. “The problem is to know whether this refusal can only lead to the destruction of himself and others, whether all rebellion must end in the justification of universal murder, or whether, on the contrary, without laying claim to an innocence that is impossible, it can discover the principle of reasonable culpability.”
NB: this was discovered as a result of the New York Times (NYT) article on “The 282 people Donald Trump has insulted on Twitter”– this quote from that article:
Harry Hurt IIIAUTHOR, “LOST TYCOON: THE MANY LIVES OF DONALD J. TRUMP”
(those are the insults that Donald has handed to Harry.)
I didn’t know who he was, so I looked him up and found out that he had written a book about Donald in 1993, around the time Donald was looking to declare a nearly $1 billion tax loss (which he did, on his 1995 return, allowing him to earn up to $50 million a year for the next 18 years without paying any federal income tax, the sneaky bastard.)
Now, nobody knows who I am, so I’m not concerned that Donald is going to insult me, despite the fact that I have repeatedly insulted or degraded him on the pages of this “blog”…
In addition, I have learned from Harry’s biography that he was a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard College but I couldn’t find what year, so I messaged him on Facebook with the question. He probably won’t answer.
