The phenomenon of refugees fleeing north that we have recently seen is related to climate change. It is plain. The temperature is going up and the people in the hottest places are fleeing– Central America is particularly prone to this phenomenon. People south of the narrow isthmus between the two Americas are probably fleeing south.
