Under the category of ridiculous but true, today we have news that the Department of Housing and Urban Development, which is slated for a $6.8 billion budget cut in Mr. Trump’s first budget proposal, is spending $165,000 on new furniture to remodel the office of its new chief, Ben Carson– reportedly at his wife’s insistence.
