Antonin Scalia Dies, Republicans Demand Obama Give Up Right to Name Successor

The Republicans in the Congress, the same ones who tried to make Obama a one-term President, are demanding that he give up his right to name a successor to the late Justice Antonin Scalia because only eleven months remain in Obama’s term. The scorn with which Obama should view this proposal is monumental. Not only depriving the President of his Constitutional rights, but leaving a seat on the Supreme Court empty for a year– they cannot be serious.
