    As a comment on the power plant on the river, it’s fine.
    As a photograph, not so fine.

      Yes, it’s terrible as to composition, I fully agree with you there… but there’s something about the seagull, the two passersby, and the stacks… wait… I have it. see next post.

        nevermind… It is odd to see a coal-fired power plant at such a lovely rock, tourist attraction. But then, most tourists couldn’t tell a nuclear plant (distinctive cooling towers) from a coal plant (tall smokestacks). The plant isn’t operating most of the time, hence no smoke. I have been told that it is needed due to poor transmission lines, local demand for electric power, etc. etc. No evaluation of alternative plants, solar/battery backup potential, etc. etc.
